The video is inconclusive so we must overturn the ruling on the field that Miles was lying and award him the benefit of the doubt.
If Miles was in fact signaling for a spike, wouldn't he have been looking towards Jefferson, the player to do the spiking, and not at the area where the Ole Miss player held up the ball? Why would he signal for a spike while looking in the direction of the Ole Miss players? I believe him when he says it was a down signal.
I don't want to pile it on but the cop Miles was asking about the timeout appeared to be an Oxford City Policeman. What was he expecting the police to say?
That's because you use common sense to come to a conclusion, and not jumping to ideas claiming to be the worlds most authority on body language and lip reading.
Now that's some funny chit right there, I don't care who you are. :hihi::hihi::hihi: Good point, but that's where the ball was going to be spotted and everyone was heading in that direction, so it makes sense to me that that's where he would be looking. :geauxtige:geauxtige:geauxtige
When trying to communicate with JJ, really. Look, point, and talk to everyone but the person you want to understand your play, now that makes no sense.
Jeez, how did this turn into LSU's version of the Zapruder film in less than 48 hours? Maybe Les was looking back and to the left when he made the motion, maybe not. It doesn't matter. It's over. We've got Arkansas in a few short days and possibly a chance to salvage part of the season. Let's focus 100% on Arky for once.
The better question is why are you trying to derail a thread? If you don't want to talk about it you are free to not read the comments...
i dont see that post as derailing, just an opinion. derailing would be if i were to start talking about players butts in this thread instead of the uniform thread.
