I have an aunt & uncle who lived in Houston. I started going to games when they were the Colt 45's. Since I was only 70 miles away, I got to go to quite a few games before I joined the Air Force in '66. Great to see them finally win the World Series.
Some Baton Rouge station needs to pick up the broadcasts. I don't know who the pbp man is now but Milo was the greatest. I listened to games in the driveway too. One night I fell asleep during a late night extra inning game and didn't start the car to keep the battery charged. My dad put a stop to it when his car wouldn't start in the morning and he was late for work.
Astros got m right hander Gerrit Cole for Joe Musgrove Michael Feliz and Colin Moran. The deepest roster in baseball just signed one of the better arms in the league. Should be their number 3 behind Cy young winners Verlander and keuchel.
