Looks like about an 80-90 percent chance our opponent will be the Big 12 champ

I voted for an undefeated and #1 ranked Kansas team.

Oklahoma, but if this poll had an "other", that other would be WVU.

this is how I see it.

it's crazy, but what hasn't been crazy this year?

    Mizzou beats Kansas
    Ok St beats OU
    Ou beats Mizzou

that takes all the big 12 teams out.

suddenly Ohio State who was totally left for dead, has a faint pulse again.

Holding out hope for W. Virginia.

Already saw us vs OU (I'm not big on reruns)
I don't think us vs. Kansas would be all that competitive
I lost money on Missouri a few years back against Nebraska. That game where the ball looked like it was gonna bounce, but the Husker kicked it up and another guy caught it for the winning TD. So, for that reason alone, I hope they don't sniff the game.

Yeah, I just want to deal with what appears to be the most likely scenario.

WVU appears to only have a chance should LSU lose.

    OR, TTech beats OU
OR, KState beats Mizzou, Mizzou beats Kansas and then beats OU

    so more than 1 possibility

WVU would be the recipient of these failings, not tOSU

View my thread on the BCS entertaining a 2 loss team

I have USC coming in 3rd behind LSU, only because of the computer rankings, just like in 03

Could happen, WVU and tOSU defeinitely aren't certainties to win their remaining games (they both have a more than decent chance to lose on Saturday, enter USC).

I would pick Oklahoma as they seem to have gotten more kudos this year than the other big 12 teams. Add to that, I know several sooner fans that really regard our last victory over them as a fluke. I don't much care for Stoops either.

Of course, the game being in NO again will likely cause the sooners to make the same "neutral field" claims they made last time. Right along with their claims of our fans raping and pillaging through the French Quarter. We might even steal their Bibles this time around...
