Most of the penalties called on LSU were legit this season.

The problem I had was our damn opposition was never called for anything, especially holding calls against their O-linemen.

The Big-12 refs let the teams play. None of the calls were picky and they didn't call holding all night . . . and both teams were holding flagrantly.

Seems "holding" is only called if the offensive guys hands extend away from the body or outside the shoulders of the defensive guy. Seems to me like a wrestling match at times, but it's not called unless there is some separation and there is a 'reach' to grasp a jersey. What do others think?

That was my perception. You had to almost draw blood to get a flag.

I agree LSU played a very heady game...however, to be the buckeye here...

Absolutely no offense intended here, as i don't think it would've changed anything, especially not with the buckeyes flying around hitting people late, roughing kickers, etc...but it sure looked to me like Gholston was getting held on at least several occasions where nothing was called. Just an observation...not trying to say or start anything...

I agree. Gholston was held many times, almost as many as Dorsey. Ciron Black holds like a pro!

 touche. My Bears really need one of these guys...BAAAAAADDDDD. Although somehow I think Dorsey won't still be up on the board by the time they get to pick. Hoping that Gholston blows up the combines, and moves up a bit...these guys are freaks!

Few Offensive lines worth their salt could not be called for holding on every play. It is virtually impossible to avoid. Usually the team that wins handily rarely notices it(or cares), while the losers cry foul. Had OSU won, we would have "noticed" a great many more holds on your own OLine. It's the way of the world.
