Dak was below average at best until his junior year at MSU. Answer this, would LSU fans have been willing to put up two straight years of trying to develop Dak to get to junior and senior year Dak? The other question is whether or not Dak would have ever developed at LSU in the first place? It's easy to say now that Dak would've been the answer for us at QB, seeing him leading the hottest team in the NFL as a rookie. There were a lot of variables at play with him that probably wouldn't have worked out at LSU.
I completely agree. Even if someone on the LSU staff would have had the foresight to get him, it really is doubtful he ends up the same player. Going to Moo U might have been the best thing for him. Dark horse head coach... Dan Mullen. I would prefer someone else but it sure wouldn't surprise me. Plus he has shown an ability to develop a qb.
Recruiting definitely hasnt been perfect, but that's definitely not the reason Miles needed to go either. How much of the O suckage is due to recruiting and how much is due to years of poor coaching and development is still unknown at this point. From what I've seen I'd bet that coaching and development have played a very large part.
That would help, but isn't likely to change until Satan retires. However with better coaching on the offensive side we really aren't that far away from competing. Total overhaul of the offensive system by a quality OC that can recruit and develop players, especially QBs.
Dak made progress though in each year he played. Our QB's seem to stall, not much past learning to use the potty.
Listen homeboy we don't want mullen. We don't even speak of him. As far as Dak he can thank Allah everyday we didn't offer him a scholly.
We have shitty position coaches. Grimes, Peveto, Ensminger. Can't compete with the big boys with such underwhelming talent. Bradley Dale should be scooping dog poop.
