It worked for the Cowboys, they got a shitload for Herschel Walker, like 4 rings.

About the same as not re-signing Morton Anderson, trading Pat Swilling, trading Willie Roaf or seeing Rickey Jackson play for the 49ers?

I hope it doesn't happen. I really, really don't. Graham is a once-in-a-lifetime player who I hope is associated only with the Saints name. However, this front office does a better than average job with he draft. They suck in the first two rounds, but excel better than any team not named the Steelers or Patriots in the bottom five rounds.

That being said, fuck that guy. Graham can leave when Brees' arm falls off...

Cowboys were in a very down time going 1-15 in Jimmy Johnson's first season. It was a brilliant move to trade your best player to a contender who thought that was all they needed, but I think this is a different situation. It took the Cowboys 4 years for that talent drafted to reach the Superbowl.

Speaking of the Cowboys, Jason Witten has been there best go to guy for years. I know their record doesn't speak much for that advantage but they would be so much worse without him and Romo would not be the highest paid QB without him.

Graham makes it so much easier for Brees. Having that go to tight end is so important for an offense. It makes the passing game much more versatile. If he was one of 4 receivers then I would say do it.
