I mentioned it simply as something to keep on the mental backburner in case some LB's fell through. Corey Webster wasn't thought of as a CB until the glut at WR and the thinness at DB. His natural pass-catching skills turned out to be his best attribute as a DB. Scott will most likely play RB and nothing else because that's what he wants to play and there has been no reason to do otherwise, but he played almost as well at LB as he did RB this year. He's a pretty big kid and could easily pack on more muscle if needed. Of course, Odom verbally committed today, so the likelihood continues to decrease...
I am proud that he is a Tiger. Lets' just not forget that he was a stud in 2A. He was going against undersized/undermanned teams. Of course he is going to destroy 145 lb sophmore linebackers, I am anxious to see what he does when the talent is evend out a bit. Does anyone know if he is playing in any sort of all-start game? I wonder if his star rating would go up or down if he switched to 4 or 5a? Would he stay the same, or would he move up to 5 stars?:geauxtige
Some talent is obvious regardless of competition..and Scott's is one of them. He is good, really good. Not only is he a top 20 RB prospect, he is an outstanding person. Mother is a teacher, father was in the armed services I believe...and he makes good grades. He went to some camps this last spring and blew them up too, so there is no doubt in my mind he's All-SEC caliber.
