Miles answered that yes, he had, saying, “I absolutely did (talk with them about it). I told them that I had not had any conversations with Michigan to this point and that if I did, I would communicate with them very effectively."

    Huh?

I think Miles will TALK to Michigan and then re-negotiate his contract with LSU. the state of Michigan and Big 10 football pales in comparison with LSU and the SEC.

I think this means that if he leaves, he will tell the team face-to-face, unlike his departure from Okie State. I guess he learned something from that.

If miles stays I will be happily surprised. He didn't say "I will be at lsu next year and I respectfully wish to remove my name from any consideration". If offered and the terms are right he will go. At Michigan there are a lot of diffrent people in the loop and miles may not have the control over the program that he has at lsu. That would be the sticking point IMO.

The Ok. State AD wouldn't let Miles address the team. But, I think you're right in that if he indeed leaves for UM, he wants to make sure the same situation doesn't transpire for the LSU players.

The current coaches at Ok. State who were on Miles' staff have nothing but positive things to say about him, though.

i said elsewhere that miles said he handles the osu situation the wrong way, and that if he learned ANYTHING, it would be to handle it different with the team.
