Lavalais was a Dinardo recruit. He was not academically eligible until Nick's arrival, but he was signed to a LOI by Dinardo.
I addressed the mix up above. All I remember was how much they talked about Saban snatching him up from the prison that season. They at least mentioned it once every game. That why I was confused about the CL situation.
I think we all know Miles winning the NC laid all this speculation to rest. The guy got the job done. Who's to say that Saban would not have lost more games with the '07 team. Saban would not have gone on 4th down as many times as Miles. That's a fact. Miles and his staff deserve all the credit for the season. Let's quit this crap.
