He was never committed to OU, just a feeling their fans had that he was leaning.

 

This is suprising. So suprising in fact, that I wonder if it isn't just to throw people off... who knows.

 

Not what I've read, in fact, supposedly there was a lengthy phone conversation tween him and OU coach. Rivals showed him as a commit too.

 

Arent we supposed to have a surprise committ soon? Maybe this is the one...

 

I don't mean to bash any site...but I've been hearing this from a particular LSU recruiting "guru" for about 6 weeks now...and it's always like "any day now". They don't have a clue.

 

He was at the Auburn game with Patrick Johnson and Matt Patchen.

He has not been a commitment publicly, and if there was a verbal indication over the phone lines, it was another in a long line of silent verbals that don't mean anything. Regardless, he was never a commitment on rivals or scout, so to consider him a de-commit is not accurate imo. His updates have all been the same all year: everyone is even.

 

He'd be a great pickup, but it's a long way to go from here to there.
