    he didn't offend me. he only made himself look like an ass.
    his hatred for uga is a little disturbing.
    since you hate their school so much...if a georgia fan was in the middle of the road...would you run over him/her?
    i think he's just trying to be macho.

    Okie, I'm trying to apologize here. I'm just saying I understand that my comments slightly hurt your feelings a tad bit and I really am sorry about that. Yes, that was childish and immature of me to write what I wrote, being that I knew full well at the time that dogs are such an emotional issue in our culture. I really am sorry for not respecting that fact appropriately, but I honestly (and childishly and immaturely) didn't think my lack of sensitivity for the Georgia bulldog was crossing the line. Apparently I was wrong (which happens a lot).

    Don't try to apologize - just apologize.

    There's no need for diatribes like yours. Not funny, not cool.

    We just lost our mascot last year and should be more understanding than most fanbases about the emotions involved. :eek:ldskule:

    It's sad anytime a school's mascot or a personal pet dies. We went through it with Mike last year. John's comments were WAY OUT OF LINE and should be dealt with appropriately with the negative mark for it. I would have given that type or response and a shame on you comment regardless if it was Ralphie from Colorado or any other schools mascot. I dislike Georgia a lot, but there is a difference between disliking something and coming off as a complete a-hole and tarnishing the reputation of most LSU fans here b/c one person wanted to be an idiot and jerk. He finally apologized after missing the point SEVERAL times so after everyone gives him his redmark we can move on.

    Because he was going off on one of his tangents that you probably haven't been here long enough to understand.

    For instance, Okie said it did not hurt her feelings and gave her reasons but he still insist what he said just hurt her feelings, etc...

    It's over now but I think you get the point.
