Maybe he could have the team wear Purple and Gold! That would be cool! It'd be like kicking our own arses....which we've been known to do <coughKentuckycough>.

The game against Bama was their first sellout since 2001 I believe.

It was a rhetorical question G and you are correct about it being the first in a long time.

(I don't know the emoticon for rhetorical.)

A UGA match up in the SECCG game would be more worrisome to me. They are a hot team and coming off of big wins against UF and AU give them a lot of confidence, because they didn't struggle with those teams like we did.

Of course that doesn't mean anything if they meet, but UGA will have something to prove and they will be ready.

If LSU comes out flat, throws a couple of INT's early, continues it's run of penalties and personal fouls, then we will lose.

Plus, we haven't seen a running game as good as UGA's, but UGA hasn't seen a run defense like LSU's. THat would be very interesting. The big WR's and TE's of UGA would be an issue too.

In the end, I would like to see the challenge of the UGA game and let the whole nation know that we beat one of the best and hottest teams in the country if we won. But I think a UT would be an easier game I believe.

I was fortunate enough to make it to the SECCG in '03 against UGA, and personally...I see so many similarities from that season to this one. Here's my scenario.

Oregon loses to Arizona tonight...the Thursday night home dog curse. OU wins out, beating Missouri in the Big 12 CG...thereby earning a spot in the BCSNCG against LSU...in the Superdome again.

Now of course, I don't really believe all that, but if it happens, I'll take it!

Oh, and by the way...I must spread some rep around before giving it to Crunch again.

When I was watching the UGA/Auburp game last Sat, I started to get the  (hhmmmmm, hhhmmmmm) feeling..... that the Dawgs are really on a roll.
I am torn as to which way to think... the path of least resistence to get to the BCSCG, or take on the best opponent to get there.... Since we do look human (see Kentucky game) I am almost leaning towards the path of least resistence. With everything we've gone thru this season, not playing in the BCSNC game would ALMOST make me feel that this season, we underachieved!
