    Nothing to do with coaching ability, but I've never been a fan of his and probably never will.

    I'll probably get reamed for this because of Bobby Knight's putting an LSU fan upside down in a trash barrel after we lost to Indiana in the final four that time in the Dale Brown era, but I have to give the coach everyone loves to hate some respect.

    1) At IU he graduated around 90% of his players.And Indiana is not slouch University. We're probably around 9%.

    2) Despite the fact that he sent so many players to the pro's; you very rarely hear any of those ex players bad mouthing him. You have to admit that with their fame and press coverage, there's a lot of opportunity for them to do so; and the networks wouldn't hesitate to report that kind of sensationalism.

    Can you imagine if he was LSU's coach and he threw chairs around during the Kentucky game in the final four how the LSU fans would just explode?
    It'd be like if Coach Miles threw a gatorade cooler on the field at tiger stadium after an unfavorable call in the Alabama game. WOW!

    That's it! I hate Bobby Knight now that you reminded me. I love Digger Dale Brown.

    I really would like to see coach Miles throw the cooler though,

    i wouldnt. i prefer to have a coach that doesnt act like a 3 year old.

    Why would anyone hire Knight? He's almost 70.

    The only time I've seen Knight act normal he was a guest on ESPN's Fishin' Hole show. Rest of the time...monumental prick.
