I think we are seeing why I have always said that Greg Robinson should be a OG and not LT at least to start his college career.
Recap: Jernigan destroyed the oline like Freak did. WE MUST GET HIM! Drew was in on some big plays too. Robinson looked horrible all game, as did the entire West Oline giving up 12 sacks. He got hurt at the end of the game too. Hilliard didn't get but 2 carries and both were to the outside...not much help from Oline either. I saw him at FB a few plays too. OBJ got open all game and had a couple nice grabs, including a deep ball. Rasco wasn't in on much but was ok.
No commitments besides OBJ? When are Drew, Jernigan, Rasco, CJ, etc. planning to announce? Signing day? Seems like a good chance we'll pull at least 1 more D Lineman, but PLEASE, can we get a dang MLB? What are the chances, bhelm?
Rasco is our best shot but Jernigan really loves LSU but still going to be hard to get him out of FL. Drew is the same he has LSU in the running but I get the feeling he isn't going to far from home. UGA or AU IMO but wouldn't be shocked if LSU landed him. CJ has to visit LSU, Ole Miss, and maybe MSU again before committing. I think MSU is still the team to beat and if not MSU it will be LSU. Rasco, Drew, and CJ will likely be close to NSD or NSD decisions. Jernigan may wait until the day after NSD.
I agree. Just judging from the Army game today Robinson may have done us a favor by committing to Auburn. JMO
My pop from Thibodaux goes to all of the games and was not all that upset to see GR go to AU. He knows football (was an official) and was not that high on him and was glad that LSU did not use a scolly on him. He still raves about Reed from last year and that one hurt. This one... nah.
