Kenny Hilliard Odell Beckham Jr Rasco Others: Jernigan Ray Drew Greg Robinson Kendall Thompson Gerod Holloman (Put us in his top 4 so I guess our hat will be there) etc... Here are the rosters... AABowl_split_ST_Band Rasco was named the defensive MVP for the West on day 1 of practices. Coaches had to ask him to take it easy at one point. Hilliard is impressing and Odell is practicing at WR so far and getting similar reviews to Jarvis Landry.
I am pretty confident but he is one of those guys who doesn't talk much. I just think too many factors are pushing him to LSU. But anything can happen given he hasn't named anyone his leader.
With the way Rasco is practicing, how high could he jump up in the rankings. I know he is a 4 star but if the word on him at practice is any indication of what he could do he should get a huge bump up.
Anyone have any new news on practices or who is really standing out? I sure wish Jernigan and Drew would pull the trigger at the game and put a :tigereye: hat on!!
Rasco, Jernigan, and Drew area all standing out on defense but the one guy who has everyone scratching their heads is Odell Beckham. He is the only player who has played both ways every day at practices and everyone there is wondering what side of the ball he should be on. Equally dominating on both sides and he seems open to play either at LSU. He could legitimately play both at the same time at LSU if we allow it. He is getting the start at WR. Hilliard has had some very nice runs and impressed with his footwork. Many have said him getting to LSU early will really help to work on getting his body where it needs to be.
Very eager to see how Hilliard looks in this game. He looked overworked and overweight by the time Patterson got to the Dome.
And then Patterson decides to move away from their bread and butter and gave him like 6 carries. The scouts at the game say he is fine at the weight he is at currently for his running style but just needs to firm up the midsection some which shouldn't take too long.
The players in this game just don't seem to be playing at the level of the players in the Under Armour game.
