That just proves that following recruiting is over-rated.

Les' coaching this year has been fine most of the time. Hard to win all of them without a productive QB, and that was the difference today.

They also won the game in the trenches by far. LSU has been leaning towards the smaller faster linemen on both sides of the ball lately and they tend to get pushed around some.

Recruiting isn't overrated, but player development is greatly underrated. Even with arky winning in the trenches, swap QB's and LSU wins going away.

Mallet was a 5* ranked #4 in the Nation while Jefferson was a 4* ranked 208 Nationally.

And your point is? Someone said recruiting is overrated and it is not. We have more talent. However even though we were outplayed if we swap QB's we win. What part do you disagree with?

high school recruiting is extremely overrated....this socalled star system is just like the heismann trophy voting....a popularity contest....if its not overrated, why is it that a lot of the so called 5 star athletes donot pan out..why was joe mcknight highly recruited? simple...he played hi school ball at JC....if walter payton had played college ball at an sec school he would have won the heismann...popularity...and bull chit.....

Look at the teams that have won the national championship over the last 10 years. Look at their recruiting rankings. Then come back and try again.
