Obviously, our team need not take anyone lightly. If they do, they can certainly lose. However, the likelihood of Arkansas having as lucky of a run as they did in that OT last week is highly unlikely.
It's really not about R Kansas have luck. It's whether the LSU players put on the game faces they left in Baton Rouge last Saturday or if they play like they usually do following the annual butt kicking.
Arkansas is better than they were last year, and way better than they were 2 years ago. LSU lost to this team when it won the national championship in 07, Arkansas always plays LSU tough no matter who is good and who sucks. So it really doesn't matter if they are good or not, what matters is the way LSU approaches the game and plays it.
All of this is true. However, earlier in the thread, people were predicting that LSU will lose because of Arkansas' football prowess. That would not be the reason they would beat us. They would beat us if we act like little babies after our Bama ass-kicking, not because they are a better team than us. We should be more than good enough to beat them. The question is whether or not we will show that.
LSU has lost b2b games twice in les' tenure I believe. Both times the second loss was to Arkansas. Arkansas has a better passing game. They can run the ball. Hangover games are real and this is one of epic size. The fat dude is a pretty damn good game planner and will go balls out. He held us to 120 yards total last year and we had to come back and beat them the year prior what seemed like a miracle. They've scored over 50 the last 3 games with 2 being overtime beating ole miss and auburn. They don't quit. Luckily their defense sucks but we aren't specialists on figuring out a defenses weakness now are we. Hopefully revenge cancels out the down week. Alls I'm saying is if you think we can just march out our talent and win this you are sadly mistaken. The fat man cometh.
LSU should beat Arkansas, but then again we should have beaten them quite a few other times but didn't. Arkansas is always a pain in the side of LSU, they always rise up. I feel LSU will come play well and win this game. However I have to admit that I am a bit nervous. The way LSU played, the lack of preparation, the lack of fire and commitment in the Bama game is a bit troublesome. Also the fact that LSU has struggled to beat lesser opponents in every game, at least to some extent. LSU should have blew Miss St and UF out, but didn't(more on coaching, but none the less the game went to the wire). I think this is a game LSU must score pts to win. I think Arkansas will put up 24-30 pts. We can not afford to get down in this game, we need to come out strong, focused, with a game plan to win the game. I think if we come out flat and Arkansas comes out strong and scores early, getting a 10pt lead then this could turn ugly. I do feel Miles will have the team ready, but it is difficult for me to have any faith in him at this point. I thought he would have LSU ready to play against Bama.
