Do you think if Miles employs the same offensive gameplan as used against Bama LSU wins? Do you think Miles alters the gameplan this week? The Arky win against Ole siss was impressive if you ask me. I think this is a tough game. Coming after the Bama loss and knowing that Miles is clueless about how to attack a defense, this game worries me. LSU has the talent to win, whether they have the coaching staff to win is another question.
Miles will not change his game plan. We all know this. Soccer fans in England and Brazil know this. Aborigines in Australia know this. Starving children in Africa know this. If LSU is motivated they will win. If LSU mails it in they will lose.
This is the bottom line. It's almost laughable that some of you think Arkansas is worth a damn. They aren't; they weren't last year, either. However, we never even showed up in Fayetteville. If we play sound football, we will win Saturday night.
I think LSU handles this game. They're back at home, night game, the weather will be absolutely perfect for a Saturday night in Death Valley. They will be looking to show people that the Bama game isn't necessarily indicative of who they are as a team. And we owe one to Arkansas for the shutout last year that should have never happened. Call me crazy but LSU covers this one.
LSU may win but they won't cover the spread. Opened at 7. Last I heard was down to 5 1/2. Lots of money going on the piggies. But the wise guys know something. They may bet the Tigers big when the spread gets down to 4 1/2. Once again taking the suckers money.
@LaSalleAve I think LSU crumbling after the Bama loss last year had a lot to do with it being their 3rd conference loss of the year. That team had nothing to play for when it went to Hogville. This team has only one loss and could still conceivably play itself back into the playoff picture. The fact that Bama beat us didn't really give everyone some magic formula for beating LSU. Everyone knows how, its just a question of who has the personnel to do it. Arkansas doesn't. We will be at home, and (I believe/hope/pray) the offensive line will be playing with a huge chip on their shoulders. We may not cover, but we will win.
We usually have something significant to play for every year when we play the piggies, yet we rarely play a good game. Beating Ole Miss was no small thing, Tigers don't want to overlook Arkysaw.
The swine have been on a roll the last few games and the way they beat Ole Miss had to give them a big emotional lift. You never know. When Auburn beat Georgia in 2013 on the tipped pass I said they had used up their luck and wouldn't beat Alabama. We all know what happened.
Yes, the backassed into an unlikely win in the Bama game, too. It happened, but it isn't likely to happen to the Hogs two weeks in a row, as the sequence of events in that OT were not to be believed.
