It's tough, though, because Arky's defense likely will not be able to handle Auburn. Could be a shoot out.

    I hope Auburn wins.

    All virginal and chit. :hihi:

LSU's defense is the key to everyone's chastity belt this year! :geaux:

I'll be pulling for Arkansas. We're trying to win the West.

A loss for Auburn only helps us.

This is how I break it down.

If LSU is to win out (I know crazy huh ) LSU wants Aub to be 7-0

If LSU is to lose to AUB, LSU wants Ark to beat Aub, but then LSU MUST WIN OUT AFTER THAT....

I think we can beat Auburn, so I would like to see them beat R-Kansas. Arkansas with 2 losses is probably out of the running for the SECCG.

Agreed. Although Auburn winning would make our matchup THAT much bigger. We need some cushion in the tough west. Arky winning would give them all (Auburn, Arky, & Bama) a loss and give LSU a better chance of winning the west if we were to lose a game. I want what's best for the team in the long run. Beating a one loss Auburn is still a big task and will get us respect. Either way is fine...just keep winning :geaux:

R-Kansas is gong to score 60 on that Auburn defense. That defense is not good.

It's a good question, with some good analytic postings, but I can't past the emotional argument. I can't bring myself to root for either. Let fate make the decision.

    This is most correct.

We just don't have the hindsight you're speaking of, but that would be what we need happen.

Gotta look at it from a consequential stand point. Does a big, emotional win drain Auburn more than an emotional, disappointing loss? Win or lose, it's tough to face 2 big opponents back-to-back like that. We'll be fresh and feeling confident after downing Fla in the swamp and fine-tuning our offense vs McNeese. Auburn will be tired and possibly spent, regardless of how this game turns out.
