Colorado doesn't count. Its a dry cold that isn't as unpleasant as a wet cold. There are probably lots of skiers out today
When the Sun isn't shining and the wind is blowing, "dry" cold is unpleasant and not just a little bit. Besides, as temperatures drop, the amount of water vapor the air is capable holding drops as well, making "wet" cold a myth. Have you ever considered why it is called, relative humidity and expressed in terms of percentage as opposed to volume?
All I know is that I have been a lot more comfortable in Colorado at temperatures that make me miserable in Louisiana.
That just may be the way you choose to recall it. Your personal anecdotes don't cut it with me, sorry.
I don't choose how to recall things. I recall things how they happened. Maybe you are the one with selective memory disorder
Have you ever been in freezing rain or sleet? It's wet as hell and worse than being dry in the same temperature.
-5 is phuc*ing cold. I don't care whether it's 1% or 99% humidity. It's phuc*ing cold. And if the wind is blowing any, well that's a completely different story.
Precipitation is what is of concern at Arkansas. The team will not be affected by the cold, but wet and cold will change the nature of the game.
