14-0 at halftime. Ark stats are better, 238 to 180 yards, 12 to 9 first downs, rushing 5.6 ypc. Ark had 2 turnovers.

LSU will beat the Gators in the Swamp!

I find myself unconsciously rooting for Arkanas then having to tell myself, stop, need Florida to win.

This is about what I wanted.

Florida to still win but to not look so great in doing so.

Florida's offense is just very inconsistent. They have the weapons but Tebow just isn't the same QB. Not aggressive bowling over people when he runs like he did last season, and just inaccurate on his throws. Florida has no real deep passing threat. They really have no go to guy either. Everyone knows about Harvin, but I would not consider him a possession receiver by any means. He's all or nothing, for the most part.

Our linebackers and safeties will be the key to the game. Lots of crossing routes, slant patterns, dump passes, etc. LSU will be working hard on defending this type of offense in the coming week of practice.

Florida also doesn't have an identity running the ball. Another inconsistent aspect of their offense. Rainey is just an average back. Moody should have been the answer, but it appears as though that will not be the case this season (he is now injured).

Brandon James is their biggest offensive weapon. Somehow LSU has to devise a gameplan to directional punt and to either squib kick or kick it as high as possible to about the 25 yard line on kickoffs.

I am going on record as guaranteeing an LSU win vs Florida.

We're too good to lose this game. And Les will have us prepared and ready to go.

    Fear the hat.

They scored 14 points on a completely depleted Arkansas defense in the last 5 minutes.

If the Hogs didn't shoot themselves in the foot every time they got in Florida territory, this might have been a game.

Florida did a great job holding the ball most of the 3rd quarter. (11 minutes)
