This is why we should only take the hard nosed and mentally tough recruits. The kids that want to be here and are willing to face adversity. We just got a mean MFer at MLB transferring in named “Bud” Strong. Could use a few more of him.

Those are far and few to find .
I’m afraid 90% of kids today who put on a jock are only doing it to enhance their Instagram followers

The problem with pay is that purchasing power varies across this vast country. Imagine how far said dollar goes in dowtown LA at USC vs. BR or TTown. Real solution is give these kids everything they need and remove the dollars from equation.

The other issue is everyone sees CFB as the SECs of the world and not the G5 schools operating at near a loss.

If you tune in for the show, you are part of the problem.

My point was they get pretty much everything they need already. Lets make a list (collectively - NCAA) and decide what to fill in for gaps.

Ill add to further the complexity, other sports will want same mometary reward (cough, womens soccer).

There’s literally a million ways to skin that cat. No excuses. They need to figure it out if they want to keep their jobs. Sounds like the same problems every one else deals with in their lives. They have plenty of money to figure it out. They had plenty of time too, but they buried their heads in the sand and just hoped it would solve itself? With effort and a little bit of “want to” this could be a reasonable fix. The NFL is invested in a free farm league so they will be motivated to help. How about having to sit if you opted out before you had been a student athlete for 3 years. Why not have an optout fine without an approved reason. The fine money comes from their NFL pay within a set amount of time and that money could be allocated to a negotiated place. IDK. Give it to charity. NFL cares? (I know it’s NBA cares but you catch my drift). Ok. Put the money where your mouth is. There, it took me 5 minutes to get this rolling. It’s not as complicated as they tell you. They don’t want to do it, so it’s just laziness and excuses. Where’s the accountability?
