He's a very hyped Freshman starting for the team that won the NC last year. It should come as no surprise to him that the team is under constant scrutiny by the fans & media. Hindsight being 20/20 I think he would have been better served by using a better choice of words as to his reason for leaving the team.
Coaches are recruiting the kids and then they are gonna shit on what they believe. Like I said, Saban did the walk. No skin off his back. Enjoy losing from now on because you are gonna tell the kids you recruit you won’t stand with them. think about that. It is the way it is.

On the opposite side of things, there are rumors swirling that Ika wants to come back and also Marcel Brooks wants to come back.
I read somewhere that Brooks was’n’t even a starter at TCU. We know he has skills when used properly. I think he was unhappy bring used as LB position. If he were playing safety for us this yr. he would have greatly improved that position group.
Not sure since he bolted pre-pandemic. Not sure on his scheme fit either. Jacoby Steven’s isn’t even playing in a natural position. Both hybrid players that thrive in nickel situations as a Swiss Army knife or playing close to the line in general. Neither really spectacular as pure free safeties. Ika should find a program that suits him unless he’s leaving 60 lbs of himself wherever he is. Too big and not athletic enough to compete with these guys in the current DT mold unless he slims up significantly. More Aaron Donald and less Terrence Cody. Damn strong effort from the bunch that stayed! Undermanned but not outmanned. I’m impressed with the moxy to keep fighting and take advantage of every stupid mistake FL made.
Zero comments here after the game against Florida concerning Gilbert. Mighty peculiar. Appears tp me at least one or two of y'all out there that are on the inside know something but have been told not to say anything.
