Former players who remain close to the program have a lot more insight than you or any fan. They know all these guys personally. Especially former players like Hester and T Bob whose jobs are to know these things and talk about them
Wait till the big reset on NFL contracts. These college players have a huge lesson coming. At this point in my life I can buy almost any seat in any stadium, the day of the game. I wont even buy the cheapest one, ever......I am not alone. YMMV.

I listen to Hester and T Bob. Maybe they didn't talk to Gilbert but they so talk to some players and coaches. Devin White is probably still friends with some current players and people do talk
I don't know who T-Bob is. I think Hester is a former player. Correct me if I'm wrong. If I'm correct and they are media then they may have some insight, particularly Hester. But how long has he been away from LSU. Bottom line is I'm skeptical unless I hear it from the player a coach or someone authorized to speak on their behalf like the SID.
