I don't, no. Think I made it clear that few if any know what he's dealing with and so any thoughts on what he's enduring are purely speculative and that can be unfortunate. I feel pretty confident that it's personal though. That seems obvious to me at least. Lots of people rushed in with judgements on Arik, unfortunately. Many were fans but many were former players, too. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. It was a general statement.
Gonna be honest. I totally rushed to judgment and shouldn’t have. It was just too easy to get on the bandwagon. But I wish him the best and hopefully there’s more to the story and he gets better.
You didn't hear Hester or T-Bob react on the radio? Off the top of my head there was Greg Gilmore, Anthony Johnson, Will Blackwell, Devin White, etc on Twitter..
I don't pay a lot of attention to what former players think about current players lives off the field. They have as much insight as I do.
Chris Hilton's father mentioned on twitter the backlash Arik received especially by former players on 104.5 had him very concerned as the parent of an LSU recruit. That stuff matters. A lot. Unfortunately.
Aside from former players, active players are tweeting how they are going nowhere and ride the storm, etc. You can add that to the disparity of the kid(s) questioning their stay.
