They marched at Clemson. They marched at Ohio St. They marched at Bama. Notre Dame got active. Many others. None became the dumpster fire that is the current state of affairs in B.R. The blame belongs at the feet of the CEO who was too blinded by blonde(s) to see what was happening in his locker room. Program is gonna have to tough this one out and it will. I do not agree with running away from adversity but I know for a fact that HE mishandled some internal shit. You can try to block it out and try to make it be about football but the problems fester and eventually manifest into chaos unless handled with some degree of emotional intelligence. We are neck deep in chaos now and it ain’t over. Culture and chemistry matter, but so does accountability and that starts at the top. The marches and everything around it were mishandled. Personal life mishandled...and that would be relatively minor if not for the shitstorm around him. Comments about your outgoing DC SEVERELY mishandled when you have a defense full of guys that came to you to play for HIM. Then the worst thing that could’ve happened was Guice getting himself in trouble in DC area. That made the sex assault stories exponentially worse and made it easy to push the narrative that he mishandled those situations, so much easier. BLMU didn’t strike. CEOU did. But he’ll forever be a champion. That should mean something and with the right PR folks around him he can turn it around. I just don’t think he will get the chance.

Well that is what I mean. You either swallow your pride and become a shill for the BLM movement or you hold your ground. Oeaux made a choice and will likely end up fired for it.
Did he even make a choice? I thought he just had no clue it was happening and then the media blew it up into fake news.
Well we agree there somewhat. He made a choice. It was more than that but that without question exacerbated things. The best thing that could’ve happened was no football due to pandemic. Then they really could’ve figured shit out. You still lose your draft picks (Chase, Marshall, etc.) but they would be gone after this season under normal circumstances anyway. It’s everyone else that’s troublesome.
brooks kubena was on finebaum earlier and stated that the divergent political point of views were a huge issue...
Tap is butt hurt because he believes everyone tossed Miles onto the ash heap of history. Same will happen to O he says.
I hear Baby Huey has admitted 12 players want to leave. That’s prob a blend of who is choosing to go and who has been told ‘there’s the door.’ The concern is — if that many here want to leave - how the fuck you can safely assume any quality prospect wants to come??
