Mullen is one of the laziest recruiters in the SEC. If he actually pulled in a top 5 class with his coaching ability he'd be scary as hell. He's turned to taking on all the 5 stars who flat bail or flame out instead of putting in the work to get them in the first place. It's strange. Shorter for example went to Penn State and was like a 5 star receiver who ended up very very overweight. He showed flashes at Florida, but who knows if that continues. Mullen can coach them up, but everything else you gotta do.. he's pretty eh as a coach.
