SEC makes you sit out a year if you transfer within the conference.. Also it appears a large part of his leaving was suspension for weed presumably.. LSU can possibly fight to have that imposed if he's even academically eligible.. this will hurt his draft stock for sure. Had he returned the LSU staff would have gone to bat for him with NFL teams. Leaving for a yearly opponent, well, can't see them holding back on an honest assessment of his problems. Just a terrible decision by Arik. He got used by Florida and listened to the wrong advice.
