If he’s willing to stay here, sit out a year, and work on his grades to come back in 2022, I’d be ok taking him back. He’s gotta make up for all the shit he’s pulled. If he’s not willing to do that, tell him thanks but no thanks.
His best option always was just getting his shit together at LSU. He's got problems and he's on a long and difficult road back from the wilderness he put himself in. Who knows what happens but for he kid's sake hopefully he fights through his problems regardless of where he does it. No one knows where that'll be right now, but it appears he's at least realizing what he should have months ago.
If anything, this may serve as a cautionary tale for those that think the portal can/will solve all their non-playtime related problems.
At this point I don't know what to believe. He is just a kid. And I have heard it all with him... Grades, weed, locker room problems, issues with social stuff, home sick, and people talking about medical issues. And finally the perception he quit on the TEAM. No one can say for sure what the f is going on Honestly though he is a kid and life can go sideways on you when you are young. The university should do everything they can to help him succeed. Regardless of if he plays another down as a Tiger. I don't think he is playing next year unless it's juco
