Are you upset that Les Miles chose Anthony Jennings as our starting QB?

Word from practice is that Harris hasn't really grasped the playbook yet. It's all up to him, if he wants to start. It took Jamarcus Russell three years before he was ready and even then they dumbed down the playbook for him. It takes more than an arm to be an effective quarterback. Throwing Lee in before he was ready ended up ruining him as a quarterback because he couldn't read defenses yet and threw all of those interceptions. Bringing Harris along slowly enough to learn the plays and the reads is probably doing him a favor.

OK, so if you have a guy, who is better; has anyone had the idea to see if they can call plays he DOES know?

Do you we really need a QB to learn 100 different I formation plays?

Get out of here. We DO NOT have a hard O. Every D we face knows the damn plays we run. How can our QB not?

Jennings only played a role in this loss; I anticipate Harris would have struggled as much/more. RB, lb, dl, OL, WR all played a role. Oh, and coaching.

Joe Montana would struggle behind that crappy blocking and that predictable run game.

    Here is my take.

Had Harris started that game you would have the same end result. It wasn't Jennings. The guy was a victim of shitty play calling, a shitty gameplan, and a shoulder injury. Harris proved he deserves a shot, but I'm not sure you see him do anything different from Q1-Q3.

Im sure Harris could have hit open targets running across mid field and NOT throw the ball in the dirt.

The TD passes Harris had, Jennings had the same looks.

Could have but would he have? Let's not pretend Harris is some accurate passer.

Sure seemed to put the ball on the money in the 4th qtr. last night. Finished with 2 TDs in only a few minutes of play from what I remember.
