Are you upset that Les Miles chose Anthony Jennings as our starting QB?

Forgetting the circumstances involved, if this was your team, who would you put under center next week to give you the best chance at winning against Auburn in 2 weeks?

He would start if I was the coach and I'll do it for a lot less than $4 Million

We all know how stubborn Miles is. Harris can be head and shoulders above Jeffer..uh I mean Jennings, but Miles will continue trying to fit a square peg in a round hole.

Harris. All about the progressions and not forcing stupid throws. That and being able to hit open people.

Exactly!! What I don't understand is that we've got a wealth of talent, top to bottom, at just about every position. Sure the kids are young, but if you look at other teams with young players, it seems like they improve from game to game. Where is that improvement with our guys? It doesn't happen. I just don't understand why we seem to have a hard time developing and MAXIMIZING talent.

Harris himself has shown a ton of improvement. Fournette has shown improvement, as has Williams, and Hilliard. Kwon has shown improvement. Our secondary looked amazing until tonight, they had shown improvement, and they got burned pretty hard but that's not all on them.

Our guys look a ton better than they did against Wisconsin, our offensive gameplan and Jennings inability to hit the broad side of a barn tonight really drained our defense. After the terrible start they did well for a bit, then got hammered when they were getting tired.

    Gotta fix the MLB issue.

Ok, you got me. They did look better against outclassed opponents like Sam Houston St and ULM. But they took a major step backwards in their first real test at home at night.

Couldn't agree more. The 3 and outs took it's toll on the D.

Let's look at it in a few games. I'm not saying I'm right, I'm just saying I think this was a game we took for granted and it showed. And then Jennings pulled his best Jefferson impression. Good thing Harris isn't named Lee or he might not have seen the field tonight.

Maybe, but we saw the exact same thing against a rent-a-win team like ULM. Especially the first half. The only reason we score 21 in the 2nd half was because of their lack of depth.
