Are you upset that Les Miles chose Anthony Jennings as our starting QB?

you have to have a consistent passing game to have a primary wr open consistently against a 'quality opponent'. jennings simply throws to number 83 despite what the d gives him. hes green. too green to go thru progressions it seems. he will improve and when he finds his other talented pass catchers, this offense will look a lot better. this attrition has hit LSU unlike any other time. So, we are rebuilding and will have to take our lumps. We do, however, need to realize this and maximize our strengths. Our lines on both sides are lacking currently. Spread it out and sling it around a bit which probably means more Harris.

Because we are not holding anyone to single digits in the SEC West this year. A brutal time to be rebuilding. May as well have fun with it.

What gets me is the 1 thing that stood out to me about Anthony Jennings from watching his high school film was the fact that he does go through progressions. I'm telling you something is being done here that we don't know about and I'm almost thinking it's being coached that if your first option isn't there then throw it away or at the ground. I'm telling you he's handcuffed.

Perhaps... Maybe he's having difficulty of adjusting to the speed of the college game, which is even more intensified in SEC games.

Could be, or his OLine is giving him no time.

"Locked onto the receiver" means that Jennings stares down his primary receiver all through the play, tipping the defense as to where he is throwing the ball. Experienced quarterbacks look all over the field and don't telegraph who is getting the ball. This means he has to trust and have chemistry with his primary receiver so he knows where to throw it with only a quick final glance.

maybe not coached up but not handcuffed per se. when the lights go on in TS in front of the largest crowd ever, most every young player come close to sharting themselves. Especially the opponents. He will have to adjust or maybe hes one to never get it. I think the coaches work with him on making the easier, open throws from here out. He became attached to dural as his comfort blanket instead of getting everyone involved. He will learn. Or Harris will start eventually.
