well said. I hate to see it happening, and I'm tired of hearing about it from Alabama and Auburn fans up here...not that I disagree with them.

How can you? There is no legitimate way to defend him.

I used to, believe it or not. I haven't even tried this year. I've resorted to ignoring their comments and talking about the good stuff we do... it's the only way to stay sane up here :geaux:

Is the season over yet? Did I miss something? Last I checked we get nothing for being in 1st place on October 4th. If LSU wins the west I will gladly eat the well deserved crow. I'm not the least bit worried.

Last year huh? Now there is a great point.

Wonder how long that will last. Perhaps you have not watched the gumps play football yet THIS year. I don't like them, in fact I hate them, however my hatred has not altered my vision or my ability to recognize what good football looks like. Fact is Jr. I'd love for us to win the SEC, the NC, all the happy things you and your miles lovers wish to come true. I don't want the team to lose to bama. Especially since we have the talent to beat them. At some point you have to wake up from the dream and realize we had better get A LOT figured out before that game day rolls around or it will be U-G-L-Y. I personally don't have any faith in the ability of our HC to do that figuring. Again, we win, I'll give it up to him. I just don't see it.

neither, they want undefeated every year. I bet many including yourself would take tuberville in an instant notwithstanding the 5-7, Tony Franklin debacle of 2008

Don't just pick out the stats that support your agenda. Did you forget to mention that he is 2-3 vs Florida, or 5-7 vs the SEC West the last two seasons. Is there anything else you can offer other than his record in support? Do his wins and losses have any relevance to what we witnessed on Saturday, or last season?

We are 5-5 against the West the past two seasons. Unless you are counting the spring game, and only the portion of the team that lost.

Since we play Florida every year I counted them. Point is the same though. I'll rephrase, we are 5-7 vs. teams in the SEC that we play every year.

In the last two years, we are 0-2 vs. Alabama, 0-2 vs. Florida, 0-2 vs. Ole Miss, 1-1 vs. Arkansas, 2-0 vs. Auburn, and 2-0 vs MSU.
