What are the Bush/Obama bailouts? The TARP bailouts of the finance industry was signed into law by George W. Bush, period. I did not support bailing out the banks the way we did it. It had too few penalties for the nimrods in charge of the banks who all got bonuses instead of pink slips. It did not require them to use the money to get the toxic debt off the books. Many just went out and acquired other banks and other deals. It was important for the US not to let all our top banks fail, but just handing over the money without strings attached was a foolish republican gift to big money.

Fuck you. Explain specifically where I said that I want to "tax millions of hard-working taxpayers". It didn't happen. Explain what these mysterious "special interests" of mine that the money should go to? It's all bullshit that you made up and you have been caught. Now you are twisting in the wind trying to get off the hook? Excellent.

You do not speak for me. Ever. Got that? I did not utter the statement you attributed to me. You lied and you are still lying.

I've always liked you martin, but I have no respect for liars. Zero.

The special interests are the failing businesses that you support bailing out.

The taxpayer is the person you want to shoulder the burden of these bailouts of your pet groups.

Also you complain about the bonuses. You would prefer the government manage the salaries and essentially run the company. What about that isn't collectivism?

You totally missed the point, or chose not to address it. I don't care how the Obama's made their money as long as its legal. And making millions selling propaganda is legal.:p I don't care how much he's worth, and of course I know he's not as wealthy as Romney - I don't think he has the ability to earn that much in business even if he wanted to. None of that is the point

The explicit and implicit points of the people saying yes to this thread topic question is - 'Romney is a Gordon Gecko wanna be out to crush the common man'. AND of course these same people believe that the Obamas have reached their wealth and position only by doing good across the world. Why, the Obamas would never do anything to reach that powerful wealthy position that would even cause the slightest discomfort to any poor soul; they are incapable of committing the evil that Mitt has done.

I'm calling bullshit to both of those beliefs. Obama can be as ruthless, and sometimes ham handed, as anyone I've ever witnessed in national politics. His current campaign tactics would make Nixon blush. What Romney did at Bain was improve the business garden by fertilizing and nurturing the companies that could grow; and pruning the dead limbs and pulling the weeds when needed. Which is what Cory Booker was kind of saying before the Obama mafia put a political gun to his head and pulled the trigger half way back. The President's sure a nice guy isn't he? Or did Bush tell Booker to curb his 1st amendment rights?

Actually Red BHO supported and endorsed the TARP bailouts. At the time of the bailout leadership of both parties worked together. Was TARP perfect? NO, actually many conservatives were skeptical of TARP and had to be pulled in. The whole rescue effort over the end of W's term and start of BHO's was bipartisan as things could be. BTW the banks have repaid their loans to a large degree. The real iniators if the problems FANNY MAE and FREDDY MAc are the drag on any payback. Finally I think many on the right agree with your last point.
