Are we rooting for or against Mel Tucker tomorrow against Michigan?

I always, always, always root for MSU over the Wolverines, but, on the other hand, I really don't want Mel Tucker as LSU's coach, mostly because I want Billy Napier. A win against Michigan would vault Tucker near or into the lead, I believe.

I want Napier because he's obviously a great game coach and likably humble person, who would be the least expensive option out there. And having been promoted from UL-Lafayette he would seem more of our own, familiar with the state, able to lock up the recruits.

I want the best guy for the job. Whoever that might be. If he needs to win to prove it, then let it be. I have had my fill of home town heroes so that doesn't give Napier an advantage in my book.

Tucker is my first choice right now. So my preference would be MSU spanks Michigan, real Fing hard, becomes known as the great coach every talented kid wants to play for ; then accepts our HC job. What ever the cost. The bigger the contract the more publicity we get.

What makes you think he has to rebuild? Given the talent we have they need to be kicked in the ass; taught sound technique; taught some effective plays, schemes, and formations; and inspired to run through a brick wall in pursuit of that NFL merry-go-round ring.

Word is and if word is true, Woodward already has his guy locked down. So enjoy the rest of the season with the strong possibility that the results mean piss all. Besides, a win over an ALWAYS overrated Michigan team won’t sway my opinion of Tucker.

Are you serious with this shit? Please list the teams who have won national championships in the last 10 years. Better yet, teams who have won multiple championships the last 15 years. Let’s make it 3+ the last 20.

I’ll wait. Or can we just stop with the doom and gloom?

Do you want to get into which schools spit out the most NFL talent next?
