We have old posters and young posters, pretty smart posters and some not so smart, good posters and poor posters..........but I wonder if any of these recruits "tune in" and read some of this crude we sometimes post. If so, what do they think about some of this drivel. Could some "crude" post effect a young man's attitude toward that school? Especially when it is racial or speaks poorly of him or his family. Would JaMarcus feel offended that his abilities and leadship is questioned so often? Would JP be sitting back snickering and agreeing with the posters wanting him? Does Flynn feel like he is getting a fair shot? How about some feed back from some of you students. Do you know any atheletes that read ANY forums? I don't know as I would state any names, in case that info caused someone to make a rude or unwelcome post. Just wondering.................
I have often wondered if I, at age 17, had reached a maturity level where I would think, "Hey..I don't know them or owe them." I don't know...I think I would have been pretty curious.(nosy) I may not have checked them all out, if there were some that I just had no interest in. But my final four or five? Probably...
They pretty much get wind of it anyway. From students, the media etc. They don't have to check the forums to see what the perception of them is. I doubt any of the players ever check this site. This site is a much more mature, older crowd than some other forums that a college student would be more inclined to check (myself & a few others here not with-standing). A few of them might be rivals members or something from checking it when they were being recruited. But it's probably a small minority.
Since cgisclair seems to know RP, I guess he could tell us if RP (or other recruits) visit this site... Wasn't there rumor that JV visited this site before???
Justin made a post defending himself on another site - one which it was well known his mom had an account at. Cgisclair has said that RP visited this site while he was being recruited.
