Be that as it may, you know as well as I do that the wheels aren't falling off if we can still land classes like this. Should Miles and his staff prove to not be able to get things right on the field, as many speculate, his tenure will soon end after next season. That said, having a loaded team to be able to hand off to whoever might become the next coach would indicate we still have the fire power to stay close to, if not back on top. A far cry from the wheels falling off.

Yeah, and if Les Miles gets dumped after next year, we can all talk about how Coach "X" is winning with Miles' players.

    It never ends, does it?

One thing I've learned by becoming an "old fart" is that the grass USUALLY isn't greener....

I really hope he pulls his head out of his ass on the field, because next year's class is going to be sick, and we need stability.

Even more reason to indicate that the wheels are not falling off. I think next years class will be a chart topper and regardless of if we compete for the SECw title or not, I think we still will land this class. Giving even more talent to who ever would take over should Miles be shown the door. Of course I prefer that he live up to what we LSU fans have come to expect, a winning product on the field.

Which he has, it's just been a bit shakier these last two years for most of the fan base's liking.

The Wheels aren't off and CLM is doing a good job. He has had a learning curve - he was a 3rd tier coach when he arrive just as Saban was. Soon, they'll be calling Baton Rouge 'Title Town'.

It ain't about Miles for me, its about LSU! If the wheels were falling off the recruits wouldn't come and they still are. Many wrote us off after Saban left but LSU is bigger than any one coach!!!!!!
