This recruiting class has really given me a boost in confidence of the direction that this program is headed. A great class isn't the answer to all of our problems, but it sure helps. I think that right now (while I'm still on my NSD buzz) I would change my vote from "maybe" to "no".

Things seem to be coming together....now if we can just get this offense going....

Wheels fallen off the program? No... They're just falling off the bandwagon. Soon as the load lightens a bit from people jumping, it'll be back on course. :)

I think Charles Arbuckle summed it up about LSU on their NSD show not coaching up the kids quite as much. I think the talent is similar to the championship years. The biggest difference was the OL and DL play. OL was horrible and DL was avg. I do think we need a bit more explosiveness at DE

You took the words right out of my mouth. Way to go Tigers, and oh yeh Miles and his coaching staff. I can say for certain that he is winning the recruiting battle yr in and yr out with what Miles brings to the table.

Miles and staff are GREAT recruiters. Thats never been the question. He has consistently reeled in fantastic classes. He has kept that fence around La, which is the key to the success. The matter is to get coaching that talent up once they get here. Thats what will keep LSU at the top. Im very excited with how today went down. Hopefully it goes into next year and we see a better product out there. After today Im more excited and more positive.

    What. A. Retarded. Thread.

We closed another top recruiting class, our best players are sophomores and freshman. Let's wait and see.

Got to tell ya I was concerned about this class. But Les did good. The big surprise for me was Auburn. Wow they were 3 in the majority of the polls beating out the Gumps. That is surprising especially with $aban doing the recruiting. Maybe the war eagles/tigers/plainsmen will be back in a couple of years.

We already knew he could recruit, but its the in game stuff that matters the most. And i am sorry but i still have no faith in his on the field coaching abilities.
