some just think the limo driver is ****ing intoxicated. some=me

so the record is somewhat irrelevant until this team starts functioning as a cohesive unit. that especially includes the coaches.

There are many different perspectives as to the severity of our problems, but I think there is a common theme amongst them all. We all just want to see our Tigers play like they should, dominate who they should, win against who they should, play hard against everyone, and be in contention for all the marbles. I don't think it really matters who the coaching staff is to most if they can get it done.

That sums it all up. LSU shouldnt struggle every week, having pretty much the same problems. Then it escaltating at seasons end due to a mental collapse.

I know we cant win the SEC or BCS every year. I just want to see improvements and the team play to the talent. I do expect better though than to lose every game to UF and Bama. Thats unaccpetable. LSU has the same talent as UF and IMO, better than Bama. Its just Bama has a full understanding of what they are, who they are, and what they will do during the game. Bama maximizes their talents.

Honestly, there were improvements all over the field. The only problem is that they were not the improvements most fans wanted/looking for.

I'm not sure how many different ways it can be said.

If LSU had a QB last season (or the season before that) who could make reads, throw accurately, and cause teams to empty "the box", the last (two) season(s) would have been completely different and you wouldn't be lamenting the perceived heinous misuse of all that talent.

Jefferson just wasn't there yet and he was the only real option after Lee proved he couldn't handle the pressure. Hopefully he's grown (Jefferson) and will be better next year. If not, then Miles has to make a move, probably to Garrett, maybe back to Lee. Because two more years of substandard QB play is going to get him fired. For sure. And rightly so.

While I agree on a lot of points about JJ he is far from the blame here. When given the opportunity to throw 10-20 yard intermediate routes he didnt do that bad. When you have a crappy OL that cant block to run the ball. When everyone knows the only passes youll throw are slants and WR screens. Teams know to load the line. Like Ive been saying if they would call the game for JJ like they do Lee youd see a big difference in the O. While the players need to show up better. JJ needs more poise. We also need a few leaders to step up. The coaches must coach up the kids, something we havent seen in two years. The play calling is atrocious. The last two years we have also seen the team mentally implode at seasons end. Also you have to coach to your talent. We should have used Shepard more, as well as misdirection to help out the OL. In the SEC you cant be uber conservative like LSU was. Overall Id put more blame on coaching.

Sorry, I just need clarification of "Gump friends". Is it a reference to the internal optimism of Forrest Gump or something else.
