Works both ways. bama ain't seen anything like our defense, either.

Bama's front 7 is more physical, but our depth at DE will be a major asset in the 2nd half when we have fresh legs trying to take Richardson down near the LOS with LB help. I would expect to see some run blitzes and loading the box to make McCarron beat LSU through the air.

On offense I think we spread the field a little bit more. Make all that beef Bama has on the DL chase Jefferson and our backs all over the field. Our WRs will match up well against their secondary, so Lee should get his yards, too.

I just hope we get Lonergan back in time. T-Bob got manhandled several times against Tennessee and we need as much power up front as we can get.

You're always concerned. Relax. We'll either win or lose. No one will die.

Their defense hasn't seen an offense equivalent to ours either.

This is my thought exactly. I don't think Bama has been tested much at all this year. I can actually see a scenario where we score more than 30. I know they are good, but they have not played the monumental games LSU has.

It would not suprize me to see a 4-2-5 against Bama with "Freak" & Logan or Brockers clogging the middle. This could slow the run and make AJ have to find something underneath. With 5 dbs and Tyrann running all over the place we could get some picks.

Again, this cuts both ways. We haven't seen an offense like theirs, either. Yes, we've faced the high-flying units from Oregon and WV, but bama brings an extremely balanced attack to the table. Similarly, bama has faced the high-flying unit from Arky, but they have nowhere near our offensive balance.

I actually really like that idea. It would allow Baker and probably Minter (our 2 biggest/most physical LB) to be the 2 LB's. Taylor, Reid and Brooks, IMO as the safties (Brooks is a bit more physical/experienced vs the run).
