The Saints will really have to focus to take the #1 pick away from Green Bay or the Jets. I think they will be in the running with the Bills and Raiders and possibly the Texans for a pick around #5.

It's way too early to predict what they should draft.

oh, you mean, much like it was when Brooks was there?

If that is the case, we will all want Brees' head, right?

No, because Brees is a leader, unlike Brooks, who couldn't lead a pack of lemmings off a cliff.

how many playoffs games has this fearless leader won?

    it's a lost cause... :(

Phillip Rivers' success in San Diego in the next 2-3 years will prove it

Brees can't play defense. In Haslett's first year, we actually had the semblance of a defense...this year, our D is a joke...

Just like his 14 fumbles in the preseason proved his worth this season. Okay, so Brooks won ONE playoff game his first season as a starter, broke a few passing records, but couldn't get the Saints back into the Postseason. Brees, in the meantime, has had two great seasons in the past two years, along with an invite to the Pro Bowl. Brooks was the bane of this organization for the past few years. Stats don't mean a damn thing if you can't get your team to the playoffs.

Anybody who defends Aaron Brooks is smoking crack.

I don't know about that one, we're playing pretty damn good D this game, albeit against Cleveland. But still, we're playing well. Now if our offense can get rolling. At least we're driving down the field, something we had trouble doing last season and in seasons past.

That's the way I see our draft playing out if we get the #1 pick.

Since when is averaging 20+ a game having trouble driving?

Because every season with Brooks, we had that much, except last season

And every season with Brooks, he made stupid mistakes that cost us games. This team is better with him gone, plain and simple.
