I hate this kind of piece. I realize the journalist has a job to do, but all it's gonna accomplish is hurt recruiting. Really a lose-lose proposition. Even if he is fired, it won't be easy to find a coach to win at the same rate that Miles did. Not to mention the negative attention we'll get from firing a consistently winning coach who is also a fine person.
Not at all In fact I like Miles, just wish he'd pull his head out of his ass. He has had it up there looking for his horseshoe long enough
If we dont fire Miles when we need too it may set the program back further than it should be set back.
That oould be the fear-that he would be something like 10-2 next year and still lose to Bama and underachieve. How do you fire him then. Like John Brady would be almost about to get fired and then the team would go on a run and he would keep his job. There could even be a lot more to this than Rabalais has chosen to reveal from his sources as of this time. Just sayin'
I'm not sure I agree with this when the guy getting fired has a winning percentage that most other coaches would envy. Granted, we have talent in the state, but for those too young to remember we consistently lost for a decade in the 90's.
