The knock on Key has been his slight frame and difficulty in putting on weight. The NFL wants him at 250 minimum, ideally in the 265 range for what will likely be a defensive end spot. Anything lighter and he'll have to be a rush specialist OLB in a 3-4 scheme which diminishes his opportunities though more teams now run the 3-4 or have it in their defensive gameplan today than they did 5 years ago.
