Blood is thicker than water. Archie would be firmly behind the Colts if they met the Saints in the Super Bowl.

Archie should get kicked in the balls if he roots against his son. He should have no allegiance to the Saints either, given the disdain they had for him during his playing days.

And no, I'm anything BUT a Manning fan.

Archie does preseason games only. He spends his time during the season watching Peyton and Eli play.

I'm sure he'll be happy to see the Saints in the SB. But I'm positive he'll want the colts to win.

He'll want the Saints to win so Eli won't develop a Brady Bunch complex.

    "Peyton Peyton Peyton"

If the Patriots go, I already have the headliner. "Dynasty vs. Destiny?"

A father should always root for his son.

But make no mistake about it, if it's the Saints vs Patriots, Archie will be all decked out in the old black-n-gold.

Anybody can beat a great team but no one can beat a team of Destiny.

Actually, if the goal of Eli was to be able to start and play as soon as possible, he made the right move. Remember, no one knew that Drew Brees was going to get hurt, and then leave for the Saints this year. If Brees doesn't get hurt, Philip Rivers would still be on the bench, and Eli would be too.
