I’ve been worried about A&M since they joined the SEC. Before that LSU was the closest SEC school to Texas, it gave Texas kids the opportunity to play in the SEC and stay close to home. Now they can stay in Texas and play in the SEC, and if they play their cards right can start poaching kids from Louisiana which has already started. With the right coaching staff and blank checks, this could be very bad for LSU.

Aranda may see the shitshow going on here and doesn't want to step in it himself. A&M, with the money they are willing to spend and with a great AD would give him a better chance to enhance his resume with a title than if he stays here.

That’s true. If Eaux can keep Aranda it will feel like a win. I respect the faggies for making a push for relevancy. They kinda need to go overboard to make College Station a destination.

We can’t compete with their money, but we still have good money and great talent. Hope Eaux is fighting the good fight, he’s got a scrap on his hands.

Dead on Louisiana can’t complete with Texas, Florida, Georgia or Alabama in wealth or ability to financially support our athletic program. Maybe if we stopped giving the University the $5-10 million a year we could.
Being handicapped with stooges like aalleva and FKing only makes it worse. We need a dynamic governor to strong arm the university, legislature and donors. A NC winning program lifts donations for both athletics and academics. Davant has returned his salary 10 fold in donations. Until that happens it won’t matter who the coach is, we’ll be Mississippi and Tennessee at best.

Wow there is one else in the world that can replace Aranda. He leaves screw him. Come here for 2 years paid big money and he leaves to coach at a rival school. LSU will find another DC and OC if needed. LSU will have talent every year we will be fine. If O is the problem when it's all said and done we will replace him. They pay our coaches big money it's their job to take care of this.

I have read reports that said he would be able to build his staff at A&M.

The defense will probably be fine. The image that is creates is way worse.

Might be a good thing in the long run if Special Ed cant get his shit together.

How? There are no ways that I slice this and see any positive, and I’m a super positive person who usually finds the silver lining.

It does seem like Aranda is a character guy; maybe he’ll stick around.
