I don't know what a taint junior is. Brady was offered 1 million spread out over 3 seasons. By contrast Aranda was making 2.5 million a year. https://www.si.com/college/2020/01/11/joe-brady-lsu-contract-extension "The agreement’s parameters remain in flux, but Brady would, as of now, receive a three-year contract and a salary that is expected to more than double his current earnings of $410,000." I have no problems with O at all. I loved the Championship! I'm simply looking toward the future. LSU could have offered a very competetive Head Coaching salary to Aranda. I don't see Brady as a Head coach at his age, but an OC, yes. Both Coordinators that coaches that brought that great season are now gone. It's extremely dissappointing. If you think LSU will replace them & head right back to the NC game, I have some land in Dumpwater, FL for sale.
Why make him do it? Why can't that be a contract provision if it keeps him here - that he doesnt have to recruit. My guess is that he just wanted to be back in the NFL.
It was $1m per season, not spread out over 3 seasons. Probably more than any non-coordinator is making, but maybe not enough considering what he brought to the table. And if the man doesn't want to recruit, give him a pass. But too late now.
A bit of good news on the coaching front. Faggies fail again. https://www.al.com/sec/2020/01/texas-am-unable-to-land-longtime-lsu-assistant-corey-raymond.html
