I am hoping to see JJ start the 2nd half in the tucky game then we can look at stats. JL with 1s in the 1st half and JJ with 2s in the 2nd half.

Then in the Gator game we will start JJ in the 1st half with the 1s and keep JL for the second half with the 2s.

that should work out - waiting to call Les now

The dudes on the Scott Vanpelt show on ESPN said ... you don't mess with it. They were saying the same thing we've been saying. You don't want to mess with the confidence of this offense, nor do you want to mess with the confidence of Lee. He's improving on a game by game basis right before everyone's eyes.

My doctor buddy, said he thinks Lee is the top performing QB in the SEC right now. He's running the offense like it should be.

I think an occassional play here and there with JJ would be fine, but I don't think I"d keep him in for more than a play or two.

Part of our clock management problem was related to pulling a QB from the game once we got in the red zone. As the clock ticked down QB's were running on and off the field which often resulted in a delay of game or a time out so we wouldn't pick up a delay of game penalty. I don't mind J.J. running the read option out of the shotgun, but I hope and pray they don't let him run the triple option starting from underneath the center. He is terrible at it. He strings the play out too long refusing to pitch or cut up the field until it is too late. The other problem with J.J. running the ball is his propensity to fumble vs. our RB's. How many fumbles have our RB's had this year? Not many. J.J. swings the ball away from his body as he runs and will cough it up from time to time. Finally, when J.J. comes in the game, similar to the way Perriloux did, are we really fooling anyone? The other team and anyone watching the game expects him to run or execute a limited number of plays. We sure as hell aren't putting him in to deliver a difficult pass with pin point accuracy.

Guys, we just gotta accept what happened. It might work out ok or jj may just Frick us one last time, one last season. We know what miles is gonna do. We know he will pull rank on anyone and everyone and jj will play. Let's just hope our defense holds and we can salvage this season now that we have jj back. Let's just deal with it and go back go disrespecting bama, picking on pus-12 teams, calling other conferences sissy boys, laughing at the sooner loser, calling Texas out for fricking up the big whatevers , calling the aggies faggies' and beating the chit out of other football teams. We got a little more than a half a season and the bionic super mett will be rocking the football world next year with not the first mudderfloppin qb option keeper in sight. Let's enjoy watching honey badger not give a chit and hope lee can make up for the wasted series he looses out on while he sits on the bench so jj can get his turn to play. The upside is if he plays one fricking snap he won't be back next year. We may be able to win despite him. We did last year with him starting. We may not lose this year if we can limit the amount of damage he does. It's not lost yet, just a little harder.

There is some serious Chicken little, the sky is fall type S*** going on in this thread.

I honestly think Miles played JJ because JLee hadn't developed enough and Miles didn't want to risk the football. Now that JLee has been able to develop and improve I think Miles has exactly what he wants as his starting QB. JJ might play and I'm sure Miles is happy to have another senior QB on the team, but with Lee developing like he is I have to imagine Miles just sits in his offense and shakes his head grinning about how things are looking.
