Petrino wouldve been mad no matter what. Lsu came back from 14 down and ran away with it. How mad wouldve he been if miles started kneeing the ball like aginst ole piss?

you guys are listening to the unreasonable arkansas fans, don't listen to them. no reasonable fan expects any coach to stop his own team. even when LM was not passing his rb's were taking off for 6-7 yds a play. like i said before, i think the fans part of it was more emotional for the entire week, getting so close to getting a NC shot, and then having it stripped away, as easily as it was. unless you were around as a razorback fan in 1964 you don't know what that feels like, i am 31 and want so bad to know what its like to win a NC.

It's an unparalleled sense of hometown pride. Believe me, we know. Saints fans have waited a long time for that super bowl victory.

In a way it shows respect to ARK. We know they can score 21 points in 5 minutes on other teams, we made sure they would not do it against us and tie the game.

Arky is a very good team in the unfortunate position of playing in a ridiculously tough division. 3rd best out of Arky, LSU, and Bama could win conference titles in any other league, but under normal circumstances can't even make it to a BCS bowl. The frustration is definitely understandable.

You are making great points and everything you say makes perfect sense.

My concern is that you are in a tiny minority of Hog fans. As I review the Hog message boards, there is a real hatred for LSU. LSU seems to have replaced Texas in that regard, where Hog fans are concerned. This bad blood may not blow away. When I was with the military stationed in Arkansas, LSU won the NC with Saban. The Hog fans had none of the hate for LSU that they have now.

Do you think this bad blood will blow over so that LSU and Hog fans can once again be reasonably nice to each other? The real enemy is Alabama, but, Hog fans are suddenly now Crimson Tide fans.

I'm willing to give Petrino a pass for pointing and the language. He had a very sad week with the loss of the young man on his team.

I hope that Hog fans will soon be able to review their thoughts on Coach Miles's so-called bad behavior and realize that Coach Miles did nothing wrong. You cannot be accused of running up the score when there is over five minutes left in the game and you are playing the #3 team in all of college football. You also cannot be angry with Jefferson's celebration because he scored his last TD in Tiger Stadium for the rest of his life, and he decided to celebrate. Coach Miles had no control over that.

I'm sure that Miles was not the kind of football player that would celebrate by imitating Superman, but, Jefferson chose to put on that show. I don't like that kind of celebration either.

Shep did the same thing with his TD. It must be a thing now, like the "you can't see me" stuff they did a couple of years ago.

This team , especially seniors, had some serious payback to the hogs to get done.
Remember last year? We were going to the sugar bowl. We had beaten bama and lost by one td( au couldve scored at the end of the game. Cudos to Cadillac and au for the sportsmanship) to au. We still had an outside shot at a bcs run. Arky smoked us.
We have had arky screw up our end of the season a few times. These seniors wanted to get it right this one last game. You can't blame them for wanting to play one last time at home. They deserved to have those memories.

    this i agree 100% with.

to the jefferson endzone celebration, i like to see a player get excited for scoring, no dancing or props, but ripping your shirt like you are superman doesn't offend me at all. that day jefferson played like superman.

Honestly I think Petrino is a hypocrite. As the coach of Louisville, he ran up the score on other Conference USA teams. Not to mention, he left the Falcons in the dark when he left for Arkansas. Even though I enjoy whenever someone sticks it to the Falcons (LOL), he's constantly shown poor sportsmanship and should just accept his loss.
