Obviously it's tough to draw any conclusions from that other than to say that LSU easily handled a very good FCS football team with some very good skill players. I'd love to see them four-peat and crush their entire schedule.
Thanks for posting. I was debating it since our game is over and both must move on. Part of the problem mixing visits to two boards I guess. Part of me hopes some of my Tiger family can adopt my other team but don't want to force it. This game looked like an almost instant replay of last weeks game against LSU. Only ASU was the dominate team. 28-0 at half, second team rotation started in second quarter. Second and third team played most of the second half. To recap the game: ASU line play was great. The linebacking corp was able to perform because the defensive line was dominate (sound familiar). Our offensive line was so dominate that we really didn't need to pass the ball. Most of the offense came from running. 480 of the 540 total offense (again sound familiar). Lots of long runs off tackle. Worried about our passing game. Something seems to be off. Just not clicking yet (repeat, sound familiar). Guess its okay if both teams parallel. Especially if both end the season again with national championships..... :geaux: Giv'em Hell Apps!
"I'd love to see them four-peat and crush their entire schedule." Thanks Bandit, We want the Tigers to roll too! Last year couldn't have been better. Both teams winning NC's. Love for that to happen again. Our fans want to come back to BR as soon as possible. Their request is for a cooler night game with no storms. They had such a good time they want the full experience. Here's hoping Ike goes away..... :geaux: Giv'em Hell Apps!
It's not your QBs fault. He's something special. If you can get those wide receivers to catch, your passing game will be fine. Then again, if you can pile up 400+ yards rushing, who needs to pass.
It's all good. Some of us are "down" with the 'Boys. They have a couple of regular posters on our board. Did let us down some Saturday though. We were all thinking they could take the "!@#$% from that place with a hill that are too scared to schedule someone from the mountains." :geaux: Giv'em Hell Apps!
