Fire Les Miles it must be his fault. Maybe JJ is controlling the o for basketball and baseball.

The arms are always ahead of the bats this early in the season, but this is pretty concerning.

Not pretty, BUT it is baseball gentlemen. My guess is the first 5 wins inflated the egos of a young team and they took the next few games for granted. PLENTY of time to right the ship!

Don't write this season off yet! CPM will get them there.

not good to lose a series to Appy State, who the SoCon coaches projected to finish #5 in their conference (the SoCon only puts 1 to 3 teams in the 64-team NCAAT: 1 last year, 3 the year before that, 2 the year before that, 1 the year before that, 2 the year before that)

looking at the 16 teams that hosted a regional last year, and looking at how they did in weekend games before conference play began...none of them had more than 3 weekend losses against "cupcake" teams. LSU already has 2

the one exception was UCLA, who lost a series to San Jose State and then lost a series the next week to a crappy Nebraska team, and then lost a weekend game vs Cal Poly for a total of 5 losses in weekend games versus "cupcake" teams before conference play began... and they went on to host a regional

Texas, Texas A&M, Arizona State, and Oregon State each had 3 weekend losses to "cupcake" teams before conference play began... and they all went on to host a regional

as for the rest of the SEC currently, at least LSU didn't get swept like Alabama got swept by Florida Atlantic, 5-2, 9-2, 9-4

and at least LSU isn't having the horrible start that Vanderbilt (who was preseason #10) is having: they got swept by Stanford, then swept by Oregon (who wasn't in the Preseason Top 25 of any poll), and now Vandy is out of the Top 25
